Sultan's Schnauzers - Small Hobby Breeder of Quality AKC Miniature Schnauzers

A little bit about us:

Our daughter is married into the Carolina Schnauzers family. They have been Hobby breeders of Miniature Schnauzers for 20 plus years. We were looking for a companion dog for our 1 year old Rottweiler Sultan. It was at the 1st peak of covid 19 and we were unable to adopt a rescue dog after several attempts. I reached out to Tammy from Carolina Schnauzers (also known as my daughter's mother in law), to see if she had a possible fit for our family. And several phone conversations later Sultan's Schnauzers was created. We work closely with Carolina Schnauzers (Tammy and Scott Scruggs) not only with their help to obtain our breeding dogs but to be there for us every step of the way to get us started and truly understand the breed.
We have raised all of our dogs from approximately 8 weeks of age. We chose to spay the oldest of our female Schnauzers because she had become the companion we were looking for Sultan the Rottweiler.  After discussing it with our Vet, we chose to spay her in order to not risk that friendship with the possibility of temperament change due to pregnancy.
We take the health and wellbeing of our all our dogs very seriously and have chosen to follow our Veterinarian's recommendations and not breed our girls until at least second heat. Our animals always have someone around since both my husband and I are retired. We also have 3 adorable bunnies and 15 chickens.
As extreme dog lovers, all of our dogs are family pets first. They all receive regular vet care including, but not limited to, annual exams, all shots and monthly heartworm/flea treatment. They are all house broken and crate trained.
As some people have a guest bedroom, we have a dog bedroom. Puppies are whelped in the master bedroom. We will NEVER have more dogs than we can keep inside the home or give individual attention to. For this reason we cannot guarantee when puppies will be available unless we currently have a pregnant female.
All of our puppies will have dew claws removed and tails docked around 3 days of age.
(Unless our Veterinarian recommends otherwise). They will come with first sets of shots, deworming and a Florida health certificate. All puppies sold in Florida must have a health certification completed by a licensed Veterinarian at age 8 weeks. All of our dogs/puppies receive care from VCA San Francis Animal Hospital located at
16901 Shady Hills Rd. Spring Hills, FL. 34610
352-848-0940. Their primary Veterinarian is Dr. Pierce. If you are interested in one of our puppies, please take the time to call our Veterinarians office for information about the care our dogs/puppies receive.
All of our puppies are sold with AKC Registration.
Puppies will be available for pickup after the 8 week health check. We do not ship puppies as we feel  it is not safe in the cargo hold for animals that young. We will however "pet nanny" your puppy to your nearest airport. The cost of this service is based on current travel rates. To include but not limited to, airline ticket, fee for pet in cabin, fuel, hotel (if unable to return same day) and our time. If you are traveling a distance by car and we agree to meet you part way, there will be a fuel charge.

We would like to Thank You for visiting our website. If you are considering a puppy of any breed, please do your homework. Beware of any breeder not allowing you to see the puppy and parents without sending money first. People who will not give out Veterinarian information or have no records to show you. Beware of any breeder that does NOT speak to you on the phone. If the picture is perfect and the price seems to good to be true it usually is. We like most hobby breeders, take our own pictures (so not perfect). We are also just as selective of who we sell to as you are from who you buy from. Hobby breeders put a lot of time, effort and money into their dogs and expect the same from the people they sell to.
